Dating back to the early 1900s, Veterinary Chiropractic is the practice of spinal manipulation that focuses on your pet’s neuromusculoskeletal system. With 319 bones in the typical dog, this growing branch of veterinary care helps to correct restrictions in movement and associated chronic nerve pain and to prevent potential loss of important bodily functions. Veterinary Chiropractic can be used in combination with other treatments such as acupuncture, herbal medicine, and anti-inflammatory medicine as needed to keep your pet as comfortable as possible.
Dr. Alley received her Veterinary Medical Manipulation Practitioner certification from the Integrative Veterinary Medical Institute in Florida. She is currently the only licensed Veterinarian in the Triangle area of North Carolina who has earned this certification.
