Jack

Jack was born in Fairfax, VA, and soon after moved to the country in Pittsboro, NC where his love for animals began. He grew up taking care of dogs, cats, horses, chickens, and even reptiles throughout his childhood and has had a passion for all pets since. Jack attended UNC-Chapel Hill and graduated in December 2023. During his time there, he worked in molecular biology research and even did several studies with poison dart frogs! He’s worked with both wildlife and lab animals but has now become passionate about small animal medicine. He plans on applying to veterinary school in the near future!

In his free time, Jack enjoys playing ice hockey and pickleball, reading, birdwatching, and spending time with his puppy, Ash, and his Crested Gecko, Quincy.
