Registered Veterinary Technician & Hospital Triage Specialist

Hi, I’m Leela! I’ve been a registered veterinary technician since 2014, graduating from Central Carolina Community College. Over the past 7 years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching at a college level at CCCC as an adjunct instructor in Biology and Veterinary Technology. Additionally, I hold a Masters degree from Duke University. My passion lies in Coastal Environmental Management, and I have a particular fondness for aquatic life, with manatees holding a special place in my heart. In my free time, I enjoy indulging in Terry Pratchett’s works, savoring pizza, and being a proud dog mom to three mini Schnauzers.
